Spring / Summer / Fall 2008 Class Schedule Classes Classes and workshops require 3 students “to make” and are limited to 7 persons. Note some dates skip (due to week-long workshops). Only one missed class is allowed per unit and may be made up by attending another day. Fee: $140 Herstory 9-Piece Gwendolyn won a grant to create this unique course for women who want to understand themselves better and has taught it for more than 15 years. For the writer, poet, artist, mother, working woman, homemaker, little-girl-inside-of-you and old crone you may become, for the longing and sensitive being you may hide and the open giver you are, Herstory 9-Piece will touch your past, present, future, your loves, and the lives of those you care about; but most of all, it will affirm your place in the world of women. We will read widely, write frequently, find our own stories in those who have gone before. We will discover our innate creativity, and, as women so often must, do more than time allows, more than we think we are capable of, as we search for the “more” of life. For some this will be a spiritual journey; for others, an awakening; and for all, an affirmation of womanhood as we stitch together the fabric of our lives, piece by piece, like a strong and beautiful quilt.
