Welcome to Shawnee Falls Studio on line! Just like artist Gwendolyn Evans Caldwell's real studio located in the charming village of Shawnee-on-Delaware in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountain area, this online site offers a trinity of creativity--Art Works, Word Works, and Home Works--as constant as the flow of the waterfall outside her studio door.

A painter with 76 juried shows to her credit and winner of many awards for her watercolors, oils, drawings and mixed media, Gwendolyn is a graduate of Principia College (B.A. in fine arts) and Rhode Island School of Design (M.A.E in fine arts with honors). She has painted throughout the US and abroad and has lived in many parts of the US including St. Louis, Memphis, and now Shawnee-on-Delaware. Shawnee Falls Studio is located in an historic 1736 stone and burgundy clapboard home with original wide-plank floors and exposed beams. Here Gwendolyn paints, exhibits, writes, creates, and teaches as she has done for more than three decades.
